How to Distribute Videos

The following article outlines the process for distributing videos. Before you begin this process, please make sure videos have been approved by the necessary parties in ClickUp.

Sermon Bumper Videos

  1. Upload the videos to the Brentwood Baptist Church YouTube account as unlisted (not the Brentwood Baptist account—it’s the one that has 2k subscriptions).
  2. The Editorial Content Director will then send the YouTube link to the email distribution list.
  3. The video producer will then place the videos in the Media for Playback folder for the proper date by which the video will be played. If the air date is unknown, please ask the Editorial Content Director.

All Campus Major Message Videos (i.e. Better Together, Annual Report)

  1. Same as step 1 above.
  2. Send the YouTube link to the Promotions Director. The Promotions Director can then determine who needs to see the video beforehand and give any proper context and support materials for the video.
  3. Place the videos in the Media for Playback folder for the proper date by which the video will be played. If you don’t know the date, please ask the Promotions Director. If the video is digital-only, the VPR should reflect where the video should be delivered.

Single Campus Videos (i.e. Nolensville Prayer Walk video, anything for a single campus).

  1. Same as step 1 above.
  2. Send the YouTube link to the respective Campus Account Manager. The Account Manager can then determine who needs to see the video beforehand and give any proper context and support materials for the video.
  3. Place the videos in the Media for Playback folder for the proper date by which the video will be played. If you don’t know the date, please ask the Account Manager.

Digital Only Videos (i.e. Mike Glenn 9 at 9, Student Worship Videos)

  1. Upload the videos to the predetermined location according to the VPR. If one does not exist, please consult the Digital Strategy Director.
  2. Send the video link (depending on the YouTube account or platform) to the client for approval.
  3. Work with the Digital Strategy Director to determine any additional steps.
