5 Things to Know Before Submitting a Story

  1. Begin with at least 100 words describing what happened.
  2. Explain the “why” behind what happened.
  3. Get a direct quote from the person about their own story (or have them write the story themselves).
  4. Include approved pictures to help with the initial visuals.
  5. Include all contact information for the participants and storytellers (along with their approvals for recording their story).

Remember: Your story summary doesn’t have to be perfectly crafted! Simply provide enough information for our team to be able to take and craft into a story to be shared for the church.
